Based on the extraordinary vivacity of French and German jazz scene, and the impact that could have on it, some cross-border cooperation in the field of jazz and improvised music, the festival Jazzdor Strasbourg has done an important work with the artistic scene across the Rhine and has reached true partnerships with German professionals through two operations supported by AJC: Jazzdor Berlin and JazzPassage.

Since 2007 in Kesselhaus in this “culture brewery" that is the Kulturbrauerei, nestled in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg, a dozen formations are playing during four nights in June each year, making of this unique event the largest platform of Franco-German exchanges in the field. From 2022 the festivals is also reaching Dresden.
