The presence of a large nordic and scandinavian delegation gives the opportunity to present a panorama of the danish, finnish, norwegian, swedish and icelandic “Jazz Worlds”, their common connections and activities. This will provide a better understanding of this large area of Europe which is such an important market for jazz.

For a full day, AJC members will talk about current developments in network projects, the vitality that exists in the network, current public policies, artistic projects which they support, gender representation, etc. These are all areas that the network can see value in discussing together, bringing different points of view to the table !

Industry Connection : Building for Jazz Migration + Nordic Jazz Comets

As part of the support they receive, the cohort of Jazz Migration artists bene ts each year from the visit of people from the jazz industry from across Europe, and this enables them to get to know festivals, locations and countries through the meetings and exchanges which are coordinated by AJC. This year, artists from the Nordic Jazz Comets programme will be involved as well, joining the successful french bands and drawing on insights and information from several industry people from all across Europe !
