This Franco-Italian festival, Una Striscia di Terra Feconda, born in 1998 was born out of the historically productive musical relationships between French and Italian jazz musicians, but is also the fruit of a long-term rapport established between Paolo Damiani, musician and director of the ONJ 2000-2003, and Armand Meignan, director of the festival Europajazz in Le Mans. This festival is thus the opportunity to offer a French-Italian programming to the public and to open future artistic collaborations between our two countries.

The return in France

The principle of exchange provides a framework for all the European projects initiated by AJC. The programming of French musicians abroad should go hand in hand with an acceptance in France of artistic offerings from abroad if our action is to assume a real European scope.
This is why we support every year many concerts presenting french and italian musicians on stage together.

The 2021 edition of the festival Una Striscia Di Terra Feconda will be held from July 22nd to September 11th.
